Rangefinders -  experience hunting on a new level

The purpose of a rangefinder is to tell the hunter the exact shooting distance. In unfamiliar terrain in particular, judging the shooting distance can be difficult without one. By eye it is easy to get distances wrong, but a compact, easy-to-use rangefinder measures the distance to your chosen target accurately and quickly. The precise information a rangefinder gives you means better hits, and you connect with game further out as well. A rangefinder is a useful aid in bird hunting and when hunting from a stand, and it is a real help to bow hunters too.

When choosing a rangefinder, think about what you are buying it for and how often you will be using it. Measuring ranges and features vary from device to device, so it is worth going through the different features and uses carefully. As well as distance, some rangefinders can also measure square metres and cubic metres. They may have various memory functions along with area and volume functions. Depending on the model, a rangefinder can measure distances from 5 to 3000 metres - to an accuracy of as little as 0.5 metres.

A chronograph for finding your muzzle velocity

In our range you will also find accurate chronographs for measuring muzzle velocities. The only way to find out the muzzle velocity your own gun produces is to measure it. A chronograph measures the speed of a fired bullet (rifle, pistol, shotgun), a paintball or an arrow. A chronograph is an extremely precise instrument that tells you the true muzzle velocity of your load for certain, so you can work out its real trajectory.
