The DEXTER EEL 280 has been specifically developed to track specimen pike and record catfish, but it is not limited to these two species. We highly recommend its use on marine species such as large cod, big pollock and halibut.

Like its smaller siblings, the DEXTER EEL 150 and 210, the DEXTER EEL 280 is infused at its core with our crustacean attractant ‘NITRO BOOSTER’ and can be rigged or used in multiple ways (jig heads, offset wide gape hooks for Texas or weightless rigs). Its swimming action is particularly effective for cranking, exploring around vegetation cover, weed beds, or letting it naturally sink along drop-offs.

The action of the DEXTER EEL has been designed to provide an alternative to large soft shad-type lures. The low-frequency waves emitted by the DEXTER EEL can be sensed from afar by the lateral line of predatory fish but do not arouse their suspicion. At a very slow retrieval speed, it comes to life. It provokes attacks from educated fish that see it as a slow and easy prey.
