Shotguns

The shotgun is a versatile hunting gun and often the first firearm a new hunter buys. Shotguns are used mainly for small game hunting and for shooting sports. With a shotgun you can hunt waterfowl, grouse, hare, small predators, roe deer and deer (with slug loads only). The fit and feel of a shotgun are extremely important, and the gun should work almost as an extension of your hand. When you hunt with a shotgun, situations are often very fast and there is no time to aim. The shot is usually fired on reflex, which makes the fit of the gun and the natural feel of the shot all the more significant. For hunting, choose a gun that is light enough for you, according to your own strength and shooting habits.

On the clay range, the right balance in the gun gives a real advantage, and competition shotguns are usually somewhat heavier than hunting shotguns. When choosing a range shotgun, dimensions play a central role. The gun can still be adapted to your own hold with a different stock length, by raising the comb and with various spacers for adjusting the pitch of the butt.
