The most important qualities in a wading boot are the grip of the sole and the way the boot supports your foot under load. Simms wading boots such as the G3 and Flyweight models are known for their durability and their Vibram rubber soles, which give excellent grip on land and in the water. Vision offers light, quick-drying models developed with Nordic conditions in mind, while Guideline emphasises sustainability and low weight without compromising on support. You can choose a traditional felt sole for maximum grip on slippery rocks, or a modern rubber sole that is hard-wearing and easy to clean.
