The Winchester XPR rifle is lightweight and easy to carry in the field, making it a reliable companion. It features an internal magazine with a 3+1 round capacity and is fully blued. The synthetic stock is well-shaped and fitted with a comfortable, recoil-reducing buttpad. The rifle has a two-position safety and a bolt release that allows the bolt to be opened even when the safety is engaged. This is especially useful for safely unloading the rifle at the end of a hunt. The rifle can also be loaded while the safety is on.
The Vortex Crossfire II offers good optical quality at a very affordable price. The scope features capped turrets, and the reticle includes holdover marks to assist with range estimation and point-of-aim adjustments.
