Shimano Yasei Predator Fluorocarbon

Yasei Predator Leader is a highly technical leader line made from 100% fluorocarbon. With a refractive index very close to that of water, making it virtually invisible, plus high abrasion resistant properties, it is the perfect leader material for finesse and small sized lure techniques.

If you are a fan of finesse and small sized lure fishing for perch, zander, asp or even small pike, the Yasei Predator Leader, which is available in diameters as low as 0.18mm will revolutionise your catch statistics.
You’ll immediately notice how soft and supple this fluorocarbon line feels, and how it enables small lures to move with more freedom compared to using stiffer mono lines. And because it is so strong for its diameter, and virtually invisible when underwater, you will be able to fish finer and fool more fish, especially in clear water conditions.


The Yasei Predator Leader is suitable for all modern finesse methods like drop shot, bait finesse and LRF (light rock fishing). Unlike many fluorocarbon lines, the Yasei Predator Leader is remarkably supple, which maximises the action of any lure you are using, whilst retaining the strength and robustness to overcome the most aggressive fighting predators. There are also two ultra heavy versions available (0.90mm and 1.00mm) on 10m spools.
