The mid-priced Yasei Pike Casting is a range that has been specially developed to fish for the largest pike, using large baitcasting (300 size) or round profile reels, in conjunction with extra large lures. Capable of handling the very largest lures, you’ll never feel under gunned with a Yasei Pike Casting rod in your armoury.

The Yasei Pike Casting rods are real heavy hitters. They are built to cast and retrieve the biggest lures out there. By the very nature of the rods design and intended use, you know you have a rod in your hand that can tame the largest beasts. These rods are bigger, bolder and better and when you hook that croc pike, you know why. They’re not for the faint hearted.

The lightest rod in the range is the 2.50m XH (Extra Heavy) which has a casting weight of 40-100g. The middle rod is the 2.30m XXH (Extra Extra Heavy) which can handle lures in the 56-170g range, and the strongest rod is the 2.60m Extreme which is capable of working with lures in the massive 120-270g range.

All the rods cast remarkably well, but you must use them with the correct sized lures to get the best from them. For boat anglers, all three models make superb trolling rods on large waters, with the Extreme being an outstanding option for deep lakes, where your chances of catching the largest pike are at their greatest.

As you can image, rods capable of casting the largest lures need to be strong and powerful, and all Yasei Pike Casting models use a High Modulus Full Carbon blank built with Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This creates immense strength and reduces blank twist when casting and playing fish of extreme sizes. When it comes to power, these rods are at the very top of their game and can handle just about anything thrown at them.

To further increase overall performance, the rods are fitted with the latest design Fuji Alconite K-type guides which are lightweight and immensely strong.

In keeping with the high-quality design, a Strong ACS real seat for the lightest casting rods and a PSS palm reel seat from Fuji on the heavier rods is fitted. This maximizes hand grip and leverage when fishing heavy baits on the heaviest rods. The custom-design split grip EVA handle giving this range a modern, eye-catching appearance that matches their brilliant fishing performance.
